It has been another successful semester of activities here at Get Out, Get Active since our programme started again in early October with our new team of activators and volunteers helping the Leeds University community get out and get active – read on for a full round-up of what we have been doing and how many of you have taken part.

This semester, eight activators and 31 volunteers have led 23 walking trips to locations across the country including the Lake District, Peak District and the dales and coast of our very own Yorkshire. Engaging over 850 participants. Our 10 climbing sessions and nine Tuesday run clubs brought the overall number of participants to over 1000 across our total programme.

We have travelled over 2300 miles across the north of England and Wales and have completed over 6300 miles of walking and exploring across some of the most breath-taking parts of our country.
