The University of Leeds has a number of first-class sports facilities across the city and beyond.
A 25m, 8 lane swimming pool, sauna, steam room, 250 station fitness suite, 150 exercise classes in a variety of studios, climbing wall and two sports halls.
Extensive outdoor facilities just 3 miles north of the campus, with excellent facilities for sport and customers wishing to enjoy outdoor activities.
Bodington Playing Fields is home to The Brownlee Centre which is the UK’s first purpose-built triathlon training centre and sits alongside a cycle circuit.
Bodington Football Hub, a new purpose-built football hub that hosts three brand new 3G pitches.
The Gryphon Sports Centre has a state-of-the-art performance floor and is home to the University’s netball and volleyball programmes.
Cromer Terrace is a dynamic, multi-purpose studio that is located in the heart of the University of Leeds next to the student’s union.
Our fantastic boat house opened in September 2014 next to Thwaite Mills. It’s the home of Leeds University Boat Club & Leeds Rowing Club.
The University has an Outdoor Centre in the Yorkshire Dales. Selside is the perfect base for your grand adventures and is available to hire.
With a bouldering wall and several 8m high top‐roping/leading walls, a chimney and a featured jamming crack it doesn’t get much better than this.
The University of Leeds has a range of sports halls to suit all needs and is home to the Universities netball and volleyball programmes.
