The University of Leeds has a number of first-class sports facilities across the city and beyond.
The Edge
A 25m, 8 lane swimming pool, sauna, steam room, 250 station fitness suite, 150 exercise classes in a variety of studios, climbing wall and two sports halls.
Sports Park Weetwood
Extensive outdoor facilities just 3 miles north of the campus, with excellent facilities for sport and customers wishing to enjoy outdoor activities.
Sports Park Bodington
A world class sports park hosting; the Brownlee Centre, Bodington Cycle Circuit, Bodington Playing Fields and Bodington Football Hub.
Gryphon Centre
The Gryphon Sports Centre has a state-of-the-art performance floor and is home to the University’s netball and volleyball programmes.
Gryphon Performance Hub
The Gryphon Performance Hub is the home of our athlete community at the University of Leeds.
Boat House
Our fantastic boat house opened in September 2014 next to Thwaite Mills. It’s the home of Leeds University Boat Club & Leeds Rowing Club.
Selside Outdoor Centre
The University has an Outdoor Centre in the Yorkshire Dales. Selside is the perfect base for your grand adventures and is available to hire.
Climbing Wall
With a bouldering wall and several 8m high top‐roping/leading walls, a chimney and a featured jamming crack it doesn’t get much better than this.
Sports Halls
The University of Leeds has a range of sports halls to suit all needs and is home to the Universities netball and volleyball programmes.
