Your Edge halls membership gives you access to over 130 exercise classes per week, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, personal trainers, swimming lessons and access to a whole host of other member benefits.

How to start using your membership

Visit The Edge and let our reception team know that you’re a halls member looking to start using your membership. They will take a few details and then activate your membership. You can start using the facility right there and then!

Your membership is associated with your student ID card. To swipe through the barriers and turnstiles, make sure to bring your student ID with you when you visit us.

How do I access The Edge?
Your student card gives you access through all our entry gates and turnstiles. Please ensure to bring it with you whenever you visit.

How long does my Edge Club/Upgrade last for?
This will match your accommodation contract length. If unsure of your contract length please contact the Accommodation Office on 0113 343 7777.

Does The Edge have lockers
Yes, and you need a £2 (refundable) coin when you visit. Alternatively you can use a locker token which can be purchased at reception.

Do I need a gym induction
No, you get started straight away in the gym without one, but if you would like some help or advice please email edgefitness@leeds.ac.uk to book a free appointment with our expert team.
