Meet the Team
How much does it cost?
That really depends on the activity but none of our sessions or trips aim to make money, we just have to cover the cost of the transport/instructor/facility. For example, our lunchtime runs are free, our weekly climbing and bouldering sessions are £7.50 and our walks range from £15-21. Please see above for detailed information and prices for each of our activities.
How do I get involved?
The best way to see what we are doing is regularly looking at our activity information above to sign up to our activities and also by following us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. We recommend subscribing to the GOGA newsletter so that you can hear about the latest updates and events. You can subscribe by entering your full name and email address in the form at the bottom of this page.
Can I take part if I am not a University of Leeds student?
Yes, definitely! Our programme is open to University of Leeds students, staff, students from other institutions and members of the public.
I have never done it before, can I still come along?
Yes, we welcome beginners to our sessions and a lot of them are designed for people with no experience.
If you are taking part in your first walk then we would recommend you have a look at our ‘What to bring on a GOGA walk reel’
Have a read of what the session will involve and if you’re still not sure then please get in touch with us for some more advice: email@example.com.
The activity I want to take part in is sold out. Will there be more tickets released?
We have a certain number of tickets to sell per activity. Unfortunately if the activity is full we won’t be releasing any more tickets. Please contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org to see if you could be placed on a waiting list. This does not guarantee you a place but we will get in touch with you if a ticket becomes available.
