What is Escape from Alcatraz?
Escape from Alcatraz is 0ur first ever SWIMTAG featured challenge here at The Edge and we can’t wait for you to try it! We’re inviting our customers to take part in the challenge. When Alcatraz was a working prison, several inmates tried to escape by swimming off the island but few ever succeeded. However, it’s much easier in the comfort of your own pool. You’ll have from 15 until the 28 February to complete the 4km route. There will be some great spot prizes available for people who complete the challenge including an Edge branded chilli bottle and locker tokens! It’s a short one, so it’s suitable for all levels of swimmers. It’ll be the first of many great challenges that we run.
How do I sign up to SWIMTAG?
If you’ve not tried SWIMTAG yet, you can still register to be able to take part in this challenge. SWIMTAG is free for all cardholders here at The Edge and as well as allowing you to take part in some awesome competitions and challenges like this one, it also counts your lengths, strokes, calories, allows you to track PB’s and much more.
