It’s been a great semester of activity here at GOGA since our programme of activities started again in early November, with our new team of activators helping the Leeds University community get out and get active! Read on for a full round-up of the semester.

This semester, 570 of you have joined us as we have run 13 walks, 16 Tuesday runs and 8 indoor climbing sessions from locations across the Yorkshire Dales, Yorkshire Coast, Lake District and even North Wales.

We have travelled nearly 1300 miles throughout the north of England and Wales and have completed approximately 3200 miles of cumulative walking and discovery in some of the most beautiful parts of our countryside.

What’s next?

You can catch up on our adventures from Semester 1 by following our Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and our Facebook Photo Community, where you can post any photos from any trips you’ve been on with us.

We would like to give a massive thank you to everyone who has participated in our activities and we look forward to seeing you again in the New Year when our exciting Semester 2 activities start. Extra thanks goes to our marvellous volunteers and activators for all their hard work and effort leading trips over the semester!

Keep your eyes peeled on our website for new trips and activities in the new year and throughout semester 2 – we’d love to get out and get active with you!
