Semester one of the 2024/25 year has seen Get Out, Get Active visit places all along the Yorkshire Coast, across to the Lake District and the Peak District and Wales! Starting our trips for the new year in October we’ve seen new student activators and volunteers take the reins and help the Leeds community get out and get active!
This semester, 8 activators and 26 volunteers have led 12 walking trips (with 2 more still to come before the end of semester!). We’ve been to locations such as Malham Cove, Robin Hood’s Bay, Llandudno and Windermere! Take a look at the trips we have left this semester, we’d love for you to join us!
Our 14 walking trips, 9 climbing sessions and 16 Tuesday and Thursday run clubs have engaged over 550 participants across the Get Out, Get Active programme. With our walking routes covering over 200km this semester!
