Location
The centre is situated three miles north of Horton-in-Ribblesdale in the Yorkshire Dales on the B6479 to Ribblehead, grid reference SD 782758. This is marked as a building just below the ‘s’ of rocks in Top Cow Pasture Rocks on the most useful map to use in this area – the OS 1:25,000 Outdoor Leisure Map, OL2, Yorkshire Dales

Transport
The best way to travel to the centre is via private car or hired minibus. Parking is available.

It is possible to get as far as Settle using public transport but from there the bus service which operates is sparse. A bus service is beginning to operate predominately during the summer months, which will allow you to get closer to the centre. Look on Dales Bus for more information, timetables and routes, also call 0871 200 22 33.

Accommodation

Dormitories
The sleeping arrangements are similar to that of a youth hostel, with four rooms sleeping 23 people. You will need to bring your own sleeping bags and pillows.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully kitted out with pots, pans, plates etc, along with a large cooker, fridge, microwave and large toaster.

Drying Room
This useful facility for the drying of wet clothes contains two electric fan heaters and a three-speed extractor fan on the outside wall.

Heating
There is central heating throughout the building.
