Leeds Triathlon Training Centre

Triathlon Training Centre

Leeds is host to the Leeds Triathlon Centre, an elite training centre for top triathletes in the UK, funded by The University of Leeds, British Triathlon and Leeds Beckett University.

The Leeds Triathlon Centre supports over 80 athletes in their aspirations to become the best in the world, 14 of which are part of an elite training squad. These athletes use the excellent facilities across the city such at The Edge pool and Strength and Conditioning room. The elite training squad will be based at the new cycle track development at Sports Park Weetwood once completed.

The University of Leeds is a key partner in the Leeds Triathlon Centre, home of Olympic heroes Alistair and Jonny Brownlee and World Triathlon Series race winners Non Stanford and Vicky Holland, all of whom have qualified for the Olympic Games in Rio this summer.
