I increase opportunities for students and staff to get active, whether that be for someone who is already sporty and wants to play recreationally through our leagues or drop in sessions or for a total newcomer who wants to get active for the first time.
What’s your favourite thing about your job?
I love being able to share my passion for being active to engage and motivate more people to try activities for the first time or remain with an activity. I enjoy getting at the ground level and delivering so I get to personally see that magic moment when someone is having the most fun and have found their passion for sport and activity. Meeting such a range of participants, from International students, staff and Postgraduates, and seeing the difference the social offer and programmes can have is really rewarding.
Favourite Sport?
I’ll watch pretty much any sport but as a runner, my favourite sport to watch is athletics, particularly during Olympic year! I’m also a keen yogi, helping to keep me injury free and find my zen!
