Located three miles north of the main University campus, Sports Park Weetwood covers an extensive area of 100 acres and provide excellent facilities for sport at the university and customers wishing to enjoy outdoor activities.

Directions to Weetwood Playing Fields – LS16 5AU
From the M1 leave at Junction 43 and take the M621 towards Leeds City Centre. Leave at Junction 3 following signs for City Centre. Then follow signs for “all Loop traffic”. Keep on Loop until you see signs for A660 Skipton and University of Leeds. Continue past University of Leeds for 3 miles. Turn right at the large roundabout onto the A6120. You will see the Weetwood Playing Fields on your right hand side, but you will need to continue down the ring road to the traffic lights where it is possible to double back on yourself so that the playing fields are on your left.
At junction 44, take the A64 exit to York/Leeds (North). At the roundabout, take the 5th exit onto A64 for 5.4 miles. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Ring Road Seacroft / A6120
Continue to follow A6120. Go through 3 roundabouts. Turn right onto Weetwood Lane. Turn left onto Adel Lane.
From M62 Westbound take M1 at Junction 29 and follow directions above. From M62 Eastbound take Junction 27 onto M621 and leave at Junction 3 following directions above. From A1 leave at sign to Leeds A63,A58 or A61. When you reach the ring road A6120 follow the signs to Bradford. Weetwood Playing Fields are on your left opposite Weetwood Police Station immediately prior to the roundabout at A660 Otley Road.
A week of fun on the hockey pitch for those aged 11- 17. Whether you’re new to the sport, or already a hockey pro, the camps provide an opportunity to improve your skills and knowledge of the game in a safe and fun environment.
Our team of experienced International and UKCC qualified coaches will provide a structured hockey programme, with an emphasis on both individual improvement and fun.

About the Hockey Camp
This year’s hockey camp will take place in August at Sports Park Weetwood. We have two packages: residential for those young people who wish to stay overnight at the camp, and day camps.
Residential Camp: 15th August – 18th August
