Bring movement into your day with a free or low cost activity, available to all University of Leeds students and staff.
The Active Campus programme is your opportunity to bring movement into your day through fun, inclusive sport and exercise sessions, right here on campus.
Whether you’re looking to boost your wellbeing, try something new, or meet people from across the University of Leeds community, there’s something for everyone.
Active Campus is a free or low cost activity programme that is flexible to fit around your schedule.
We offer casual sports sessions for both students and staff each week. All activator led sessions are beginner friendly and pay as you go, allowing total flexibility. Sessions include netball, badminton, pickleball, indoor hockey and basketball.
Our learn to play courses (student only) are delivered in partnership with our Leeds Gryphons clubs. Our six week student-led programmes are designed to help you develop skills and confidence whilst learning how to play a new sport. Sports include badminton, netball, volleyball and squash.
We offer regular courses for staff, including our popular Women’s Strength Course, designed to help you build confidence and develop effective strength training techniques in a safe and supportive environment.
We offer casual coach led sessions for both students and staff every week. Hosted in The Edge climbing wall, it’s a fantastic way to learn something new.
We offer a range of classes for both staff and students. All our classes are free or low cost pay as you go, beginner friendly and led by a qualified instructor. Classes include spin, Pilates, calisthenics, posture and more.
Our run club is free and takes place every Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime. It’s open to both staff and students and is a great way to run with others in a supportive and inclusive environment.
