Help us to support your physical activity and wellbeing by filling out the 2022 Balancing Life Survey. Plus you could win a Love2Shop voucher worth £100 or £50!

Last year’s Balancing Life Survey found that 69% of staff and 61% of students were active, up 3% and 9% respectively from 2020 but still down on the 2019 pre-pandemic results. Take a look at the full results of the 2021 survey.

The Sport and Physical Activity Service invites you to complete the 2022 Balancing Life Survey, which gains insight into the physical activity and wellbeing levels of our staff and students. The survey provides staff and students with the opportunity to have their say on what the university could do to support them to become more physically active. This helps shape future initiatives that fit the needs and wants of staff and students at the University of Leeds.

The survey helps us better understand behaviours, attitudes and barriers towards physical activity, links between physical and mental health and other lifestyle factors such as sleep to give us a holistic understanding of the health and wellbeing of our staff and students.

The survey will run until 23:59 on 27 March 2022 and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. After you have finished the survey, you can enter to be in with a chance of winning a Love2Shop voucher. There are two £100 vouchers and two £50 vouchers up for grabs for both staff and students. Results are anonymous as your email will be stored separately, and all responses will be kept completely confidential.
