    at The University of Leeds

    Leeds is leading the way for world class triathlon training and development and is fast becoming the primary centre for triathlon in the UK.

    The University of Leeds is integral to triathlon in Leeds, not only can the University boast Olympic Champions Alistair and Johnny Brownlee as alums, plus a host of current student athletes with world-class ambitions, but it is also the home of Leeds Triathlon Centre.  The Brownlee Centre opened in 2017 sits alongside a 1-mile cycle circuit and is the UK’s first purpose-built triathlon training centre. Supported by some of the best coaches in the world, the centre develops talented athletes with Olympic potential from across the UK.

    ITU World Triathlon Series

    On 9th/10th June 2018 the city of Leeds hosted the ITU World Triathlon Series where the world’s elite triathletes competed for glory.

    Leeds is host to the Leeds Triathlon Centre, the perfect location for world class athletes giving them access to elite facilities in the city.
