Module Summary:
Develop an understanding of your own leadership style and build your confidence through a series of active problem solving, outdoor activities and collaborative tasks. A great introduction to leadership which would benefit those looking at graduate positions, committee roles, sports team leadership, and a career managing others.
This Module Will Cover:
- Leadership Styles and Theories
- Outdoor Leadership
- Problem Solving
- Communication & team working skills
- Personal Leading Opportunities
- Reflective Writing
Assessment:
This module is assessed in two parts:
- 2,000 word Reflective Log (70%)
- 1,000 word equivalent Group Presentation (30%)
Module Delivery:
These modules use a hybrid approach. Online materials are used to support face-to-face and in-person teaching.
Additional Support:
Support will be available through materials on Minerva, peer support via collaborate and academic support through tutorials.
