As an ex-international athlete, I have always had a passion for the sports and fitness industry.
I competed for Great Britain for six years in the Sport of Modern Pentathlon. As a professional athlete, I competed at European Championships, World Championships and World Cups at age group, junior and senior level. In 2010 I got injured which ended my career as a professional athlete.
Since then I have been personal training and coaching across the UK. I’ve run my own coaching and personal training company for eight years and I have had various jobs working with British shooting and most recently as the National Coach for Scotland in my sport of Modern Pentathlon.I am now head of swimming at the University of Leeds and I also help out at various other sports clubs within the university. Alongside this, I am the nutritional advisor for the British target, sprint team.
When I am working with a client in personal training, I like to make the experience about you, I tailor make your training programme to fit with your goals and targets. Within personal training, I have worked with a huge variety of clients from general fitness to performance conditioning, so I believe I have the experience and knowledge to help you tackle any goal. I love the work I do, and I get great satisfaction out of helping clients reach their own personal goals and targets.
