Save a Baby’s Life Workshop

Would you know what to do if a baby stopped breathing?

This workshop aims to teach basic emergency skills to anyone who cares for a baby.

It is suitable for anyone who cares for a baby (parents, siblings, grandparents, etc).

What You Will Learn:

  • Infant Life Support (CPR)
  • Infant Choking (diagnosis and treatment)
  • Infant Drowning (prevention, diagnosis, and treatment)

Who Should Attend?

Anyone who cares for a baby would benefit from this workshop. Whether you have your own baby or look after grandchildren or those who work in childcare.

Save a Life Workshop Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Do you know how to save a life with an AED?

AEDs are increasing in number with several available in communities for public uses. Save a Life AED workshops will give you the confidence to use this lifesaving equipment in the event of an emergency.

What You will learn:

  • How to use an AED

Who Should Attend?

We encourage anyone and everyone over the age of 16 years to attend this workshop. You will learn valuable skills which could help you in an emergency situation.

Save a Child’s Life Workshop

1 in 3 people wouldn’t know how to help (or maybe save) a choking toddler.

This workshop teaches those who care for a child what to do in an emergency and equip them with basic first aid skills.

What You Will Learn:

  • Child Life Support (CPR)
  • Child Choking (diagnosis and treatment)
  • Child Drowning (prevention, diagnosis, and treatment)

Who Should Attend?

Anyone who cares for a child would benefit from this workshop. Whether you have your own children or look after grandchildren or those who work in childcare and schools/teaching environments.

Save an Adult’s Life Workshop

What would you do if someone stopped breathing?

This workshop teaches local communities what to do in an emergency and equip them with the skills to help adults who have stopped breathing, are choking or have suffered a heart attack.
