I am the Sports Volunteering Officer at the University. I get to look after all of our amazing student volunteers who are giving back on campus and in the local community. My job is to support students to do good stuff as well as develop their skills and broaden their horizons.
What’s your favourite thing about your job?
I love seeing the way volunteering can help students improve their confidence – getting out of their comfort zone, taking the lead and learning about their personal values.
A fun fact about you?
I was on Centre Court when Andy Murray won his first Wimbledon title in 2013 (I cried).
I am a Level 3 tennis coach and but since retiring from fluffy yellow balls I have turned into a boring running type!
Where can we find you?
I am based in the Sport & Physical Activity office at the Edge.
