What was the February Fitness Showcase?

Saturday 19 February 2022 saw The Edge host a fantastic FREE fitness event; the February Fitness Showcase. This event was put together to showcase the amazing classes we run at The Edge, but it was also a chance for the hugely enthusiastic team of instructors to teach alongside each other in a large space for the first time in 2 years!

Where was the showcase?

The sessions were held at The Edge in Sports Hall 2, which is a large space and allowed for up to 60 people to safely attend each class. The large class sizes meant there was a fantastic atmosphere and energy in the hall. The entire event included 8 different classes and was open to both members and non-members.

Which classes were available?

The classes included favourites such as Body Jam, Zumba, Body Combat and Yoga but also newer classes including Body Balance, Grit and Body Attack. Each class was 30 minutes long, to allow participants to try more than one-which they certainly did! Some hardy people tried 4 or 5 sessions and were thoroughly exhausted at the end of it!

How can I join in?

The Edge loves to celebrate what we do with our members. We loved hosting this event and would like to run another one soon so keep your eyes peeled. We hope you will join us!
