Would you like to gain the experience of running your own event?
This module provides the opportunity for students to be fully involved from start to finish in the running of an event. As well as assisting in a University event, you will organise an event related to your experience and interests.
The module provides an introduction to the planning, running and evaluation of an event including: –
- Marketing.
- Customer service.
- Budget control.
- Health & safety legislation & risk assessment.
- Insurance.
Designated a Special Skills module, and so available to students across all degree programmes, this module is normally taken by level 2 and 3 students.
If you are a returning student you should enrol for this module online and will need to make contact with the Module Manager to ensure that the activity you wish to use as the focus for the module is appropriate.
