BUCS officially kicked off last month and The Edge welcomed its first round of games.
It’s great to see the University of Leeds sports teams back in action. It’s nice to see both new and old faces back playing the sports they love. Our facilities allow for a range of different sports to compete at The Edge everything from netball to waterpolo.
What is BUCS?
British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) is the national governing body for higher education sport in the UK. Week in week out over the year, BUCS runs leagues, knockouts and events for over 50 different sports.
Whether it is for one weekend, a monthly competition or getting involved in BUCS Big Wednesday and Nationals, students from around the country take part and get active through BUCS.
How to get involved?
If you want to compete in BUCS using The Edge’s state of the art facilities you can get involved in one of many of Leeds Sports teams that offer competitive sport. If you want to get involved but don’t play a sport you can always come down to The Edge and show your support for one of the many teams playing.
