Have your say about what the university could do to support you to become more physically active.
Take part in the Balancing Life Survey for your chance to win a Love2shop voucher. Run annually by the Sport and Physical Activity Service, the short survey provides vital insight into the health and wellbeing levels among our University community.
Last year’s Balancing Life Survey found that 68% of staff and 72% of students were active. The number of active students had increased by over 15%, which is in contrast to the number of active staff which had decreased by 2%, when compared to the 2021 results. See the full 2022 results here.
The survey helps us better understand behaviours, attitudes and barriers towards physical activity, links between physical and mental health and other lifestyle factors such as sleep, to give us a holistic understanding of the health and wellbeing of our staff and students. The results are used to help shape future initiatives that fit the needs and wants of our University community.
All responses are anonymous and confidential. The survey is live until 23:59 on Sunday 21 May.
After you have completed the survey, you can enter our free prize draw. There are £300 worth of Love2shop vouchers up for grabs. Results are anonymous as your email will be stored separately.
