Module Summary
Do you want to build your personal skills through planning, organising and delivering an event of your choosing?
This module will provide you with an understanding of the key event management principles and how to practically apply them. The module will include guest lectures from industry experts and helps you to understand the real-world issues encountered in events.
This Module Will Cover:
The module provides an introduction to the planning, running and evaluation of an event including;
- Finance
- Marketing
- Project management
- Health & safety legislation & risk assessment
The module is ideal for those students who want to practically apply their skills, work in a team and deliver a project from start to finish.
Assessment
This module is assessment in two parts;
- Group Presentation – 40%
- Reflective Essay – 60%
