The Voice of University Sport

British Universities & College Sport (BUCS) is the national governing body for higher education sport in the UK.  Over 100,000 students and 4,000 teams regularly compete in BUCS competitions, leagues and events across 50 different sports each year.

The University of Leeds is one of 157 higher education institutions across the UK to compete in BUCS.

BUCS Championships

The BUCS Championships is the pinnacle moment of the year for many sports clubs with 19 BUCS sports taking place across seven days of competition.  Top class sporting performances will be displayed in a bid to gain valuable BUCS points and become BUCS Champions.  Details of the 2013 BUCS Championships will be released shortly. 

Match of the Day

BUCS delivers 16 league sports for university students who compete weekly on Wednesday afternoons.  As an institution, we support all of our sporting teams and promote our students to show support and encouragement at important fixtures.
